There is not such a feature in Newsletter, you should use the Autoresponder addon to send a specific email when subscribed. Anyway, the welcome email is sent, you can change the content of that message.
S.Hi, check on System Logs for a store-xxx.txt file to see if the error is reported. Most times that error is due to unicode characters and a database not supporting them. You can even try, if available, to convert the tables to utf8mb4 from the system-status panel.

Hi, try to install our free wp users integration addon that can intercept the registration and start a sunbscription. Be sure in that addon the welcome email is not disabled. It could work, if the social registration plugin just call the standard WP functions to register a new user.

If the shortcode is not working and it is shown on the page as written, it means your theme is not executing the shortcodes (rather a rare condition) or the plugin is not active on the frontend. Are you using optimization plugins that disable Newsletter on the frontend?

To me, the message is actually almost clear: the SMTP used (could be an SMTP configured into the server and not in your blog) is used without authentication and now they added stricter rules to use it.

There are a lot of task the plugin does, not only sending email. Anyway that task is ultra light if there is nothing to do, for sure lighter tan a single page visit, so it should not be a problem.
You should copy the subscription form HTML in a widget or page in the subdomain. Anyway the welcome page will be shown on the main domain.

The only solution is to ask that plugin author to activate the library ONLY when needed and not at the plugin startup. We already do that at our side: we load the library exactly when needed (when we have to deliver an email via amazon).
This is a common problem of PHP and context where different software work together, it’s not the fault of one of the other plugins.

With the latest update icons has been moved to the images folder and there is two sets, one colored and one monochrome. Please do not change the icon in the plugin since on update they will be replaced. Possibly register a custom block.

You can specify the confirmation_url in the form shortcode and that will be the page shown after the subscription (it acts as welcome page in single optin mode).

You should ask the provider for the account information, we cannot know them. They should be able to provide that data.
Hi, you should contact the provider and ask to check the mailing subsystem. Newsletter “moves” the messages to that subsystem and cannot control what is happening after (and those systems do not return errors most of the times).

Newsletter stores the options on wp_options as every other plugin, and subscribers, newsletters, logs, …, on custom tables. So your publishing system is probably publishing even those custom tables.

That time depends on your mailing system (in the webserver or the external service if you use an SMTP), changing the PHP ram has no effects (and giving to every single PHP process 4G of ram is not a good idea).
