KeymasterHello,
all our forms plugin integrations are included in our paid plans, because they require frequent updates and development.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
are you using Brevo through our official addon? The test delivery you mentioned, is it the one available from the newsletter creation panel or the one in Help > Delivery panel?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
please check which encoding system you have in place by going to Help > System panel. It should be utf8mb4, if it’s something else please change it to utf8mb4 and hit save.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Miguel,
may I ask you what is the purpose or the reason of doing that?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
I’m sorry but we don’t support multiselection with custom fields. You could try using a dedicated plugin for forms, like NinjaForms or WpForms.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
may I ask you how you insert emojis in the composer? Do you copy paste them from an external website, for example?

Michael
KeymasterHello,
we’re releasing a new version today where this will be fixed.

From time to time, we ask our users to rate Newsletter based on their experience: every feedback means the world for us. If you have 5 minutes, here’s the link: https://bit.ly/please-rate-newsletter. A wordpress.org account is required. Thank you!Michael
KeymasterHello,
you should see an option called “Continue newsletter sending on errors” in Smtp main panel. If there isn’t, please make sure you’re running Smtp addon v 1.2.2
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
just go to the Settings panel inside Newsletter and hit save. Then, the update should show up.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterI’ve replied to your ticket. Please answer me there, thank you.

glad to have solved this, and sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused to you.

KeymasterHello Francesca,
I’ve let our developers know about this, I’ll be back as soon as possible with their findings.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
that error has nothing to do with Newsletter versions. Please reach out to your Smtp provider and let them know about this error (you’re exceeding your sending quota).
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
yes, I found your account under birdsasart@icloud.com. I also saw you just bought a new license (yes, they are annual licenses so you need to renew each year, a renewal email will be sent to you a couple of weeks before your expiration date).
Now you should also be able to open a ticket from your account page.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Sebastian,
no, there’s no built-in functionality for doing that, apart from deactivating the different plugins each time, which I know wouldn’t be ideal.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Artie,
no, there’s no active or expired license under that email address. Maybe you subscribed with another address, but anyways if you know that you subscribed more than a year ago than your license would be expired and that’s the reason why you can’t submit a ticket from your account area. Only users with an active paid license can do that. In your first reply you said you were a customer, that’s why I suggested to open a ticket with us.
Anyways, I can help you here. If you perform a test delivery from the Help panel, do you get that email?
Michael
KeymasterDid you try to open a ticket from your account at thenewsletterplugin.com/account ?
Michael
KeymasterHello,
we don’t have any open ticket under that email.
Michael

we are not currently integrated with that plugin, so we cannot predict which fields and id’s are used. Our addon works only if the standard WordPress registration process is used. I’ll take a look anyways, and get back to you.

September 26, 2025 at 11:07 am in reply to: Opens dropped from 50% to 9%; many not receiving emails #348633Michael
KeymasterHello,
no, dropping means that the email won’t reach the recipient’s mailbox. If it ends up in the spam folder, there are other issues going on. Please read here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/troubleshooting/spam-issues/
Michael
KeymasterHello,

September 22, 2025 at 11:19 am in reply to: There are issues with the delivery engine. Please check them here. #348455Michael
KeymasterYes, exactly. Please report them a summary of this issue (cron jobs are skipping) and ask them to check server logs. Please note that this issue almost surely impacts other plugins or functions of your WordPress installation, so it’s worth to have this checked.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterIf we put an email address field with an unsubscribe button, everyone would be able to unsubscribe everyone. Unsubscription can only start from the received newsletter or from a profile page.

September 22, 2025 at 11:15 am in reply to: How to Change the Text “Subscribe to our newsletter!” #348452Michael
KeymasterHello,
the widget label can be changed directly in the widget itself. Go to Apperance > Widgets, find the footer widget position and edit the widget from there. Also, first name option only applies to normal forms, not to the widget form.
Michael
September 22, 2025 at 11:09 am in reply to: There are issues with the delivery engine. Please check them here. #348451Michael
KeymasterYou’d need to check server error logs. It requires some degree of knowledge to understand what’s going on from the logs, so please ask your provider for help. This is something happening outside Newsletter, which only reports it in order to help you tracking down the issue.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
that is intended behaviour. The profile page is reachable only if a valid cookie is set in the visitor ‘s browser or by clicking on a link inside a newsletter.

I also think that the one you suggested might be the only workaround to at least mitigate the security bots altering the campaign statistics. I’ve passed this to our developers (which, by the way, are already aware of this) for further evaluation.
We of course thank you for your kind feedback.

Michael
KeymasterHello,
I think I’ve understood what’s going on here. The fact is that our plugin hasn’t been translated by the WordPress community in swiss german, I guess that most people just switch to de_DE (Germany german) and use that, which is completely translated from english. Could you please try that and see if that solves the issue?
Michael
Michael

Thanks!

KeymasterHello,
may I ask you which Wp version are you on? Also, please check in WordPress updates panel if you have any update available (translations updates are usually towards the end of the page). Also, can you tell your website url?
Thanks,
MichaelSeptember 11, 2025 at 4:16 pm in reply to: Newsletter to go to all subscribers without an Account #348117Michael
KeymasterIf some of the subscribers in the imported csv are already present in your subscribers list (in your case I suppose they will all be present), our import addon will ask you what to do (just follow the steps). Of course the csv you will export from your ecommerce plugin must contain only the customers who subscribed to your newsletter.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
backend language follows your WordPress language, so if you have it in english, our plugin also will be in english. Frontend labels can be translated from the panels inside our plugin, e.g Subscription > Settings > Confirmation, and so on.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Oliver,
no problems at all. I think your solution would be the best possible one to come close to what you had in mind. Let me know if I can be of further help.

KeymasterHello Craig,
I fear there’s no way to do this automatically. You’d need to download a csv from your ecommerce plugin with all those guests customers (along with their email address), format that csv with a list number (you basically need to maintain only the basic info, like name, address, and list number – remember that it must be previously created), and then upload it using our import feature. It will update the existing matching subscribers by assigning them to the specified list number. Maybe perform some tests with a couple of subscribers to check that everything is properly working.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Oliver,
about anchors: please re-read my last message, that’s the updated compatibility chart of local anchors in email design. As you can see, one out of two email clients won’t render that correctly.
I don’t think there would be any workarounds for this, or alternatives. My personal opinion, if I can, is that indexes in a newsletter simply don’t make much sense. A newsletter itself can be see as an “index”, where you introduce a summary of your topics and send people to the full post through links. There are also some longer newsletters which have their public, but generally speaking, only a few people are interested enough to read long paragraphs on emails.
Hopes this makes sense to you,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Omar,
I succeeded in replicating the issue. I confirm this. Unfortunately, this is not caused by our plugin itself, it is probably another plugin / theme conflicting. There is no easy way to troubleshoot this, but I suggest you to do the following: briefly deactivate plugins one by one (not our addons) and check if the closing “x” disappear by doing a page refresh after each deactivation. Also remember to flush cache if you have that in place.
Michael
September 9, 2025 at 9:25 am in reply to: Multisite: Newsletter installed in main site, register from subsites? #348025Michael
KeymasterHello,
I strongly suggest to create simple webpages in the “normal” way, with a page builder like Gutemberg or Elementor. Our plugin is focused on newsletter sending and might not be the best tool for what you’re trying to do.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
at the moment we do not have such feature.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello @HandyJoe,
we decided to shrink the sidebar to leave the most available space to the visual editor, and it’s the only panel in our plugin that behaves that way. But I understand your complaints, we’ll try to refine this in one of the next updates. Thank you!

that < tr > was placed intentionally to give some minimum space between the title and the post content. We should make it editable. I’ve informed our developers of this, thank you for your precious feedback!

Michael
KeymasterHello,
I took a look at your website but unfortunately wasn’t able to reproduce this issue. The modal opened just fine, and I could see no errant X at the bottom of the page. Could you please send me a screenshot of that, maybe?

Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
yes, the configuration seems correct. Could you please send me a live link of your subscription form?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
this is probably due to another rule for the same css class which is conflicting. Even if it’s not advised to do so, try to append the !important tag in your rule, like margin-top: 0 !important;

August 11, 2025 at 11:29 am in reply to: Locked Content – Accessing Content when Not subscribed #347159Michael
KeymasterHello,
yes we are aware of this behaviour. Unfortunately if you want to redirect your subscribers to different contents based on which locked content form they filled, this is currently possible using categories: e.g. you can unlock all posts with the “premium” category. We will work on improving this.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
considering that various css rules may be applied to various elements at once, causing display issues (expecially in plugins-rich websites or generally, in WordPress), it might be better if you let me have a live url of your form, so I can take a closer look.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
at the moment we don’t support that, if you refer to Ajax-like forms.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Harry,
yes, you’re right, what you see on the editor is clearly a bug, and we’ll fix it. Line height on larger fonts is by default pretty wide, I think the only option is to add a setting for that. I’ve passed this to our developers as well.
Thanks for your feedback,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,

KeymasterHello,
did you select your custom page in Subscription > Settings > Confirmation ? Could you send me a screenshot of that page?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
you can do that quite simply with Newsletter. You need to create custom forms and use the generated html in the other (“child”) websites. Please read more here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/subscription/newsletter-forms/ (some content might be a little outdated, we’re in the process of re-writing them).
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Harry,
I’m not seeing any errors when setting fonts in different sizes. Line height is always using a default value if it’s not specified elsewhere.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
you simply need to creat that folder in the specified position.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
no, there’s no way of selecting a specific date in Automated. Most of our users prefer to select a particular day of the week for marketing purposes (for example, they know that they post a new article every monday, etc.). However, you can schedule a normal newsletter to go out on a specific date, and you can repeat this how many times you need.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
feedback noted, thank you! Glad we’ve worked this out.

July 29, 2025 at 9:39 am in reply to: individual subscription forms for different language users #346650Michael
KeymasterHello,
yes, those are connected to the standard form only. Anyway, if you created custom forms you can use the generated html pretty much everywhere, i’d recommend trying some popup/injection third party plugin, which will do the trick.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
1. To do that, you will need our Automated addon, which is included in our premium licenses. Take a look here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/premium
2. You can try, but due to email design limitations, I doubt that will work.
If you have a valid license with us, please open a ticket from you account area so that our premium support can help you, thanks.

KeymasterHello,
we do not offer the option to edit composer blocks as html (you can edit the newsletter as a whole in html, but once you’ve switched to html you can’t go back to the visual composer). We do have an html block where you can insert anything you’d like to, but of course that needs to be coded from scratch. I’ve passed this to our developers for further evaluation though.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
yes you can, go to Subscription > Settings > Welcome > Email and be sure to select “Composer” from the drop down. There, you can load you saved templates.
Michael
July 28, 2025 at 9:28 am in reply to: individual subscription forms for different language users #346609Michael
KeymasterHello,
you can create custom forms (read our documentation on how to do that) and link them to different lists, then place them in the translated pages according to your site languages settings.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
you can’t do that without some degree of custom code, so you would need a developers to do that for you. We also have a premium Ultimate Member addon wich you can try, but I can’t guarantee that will work (it’s a pretty particular situation). However, we have a 30 days refund policy so you can try risks-free.

Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Harry,
thanks for the kind words.
1. I need to check this with the devs, you’re referring to the info in Settings > Company, right?
2. I confirm it can’t be entered as html. No workaround at this time, but I’ve informed our developers and we might change this in the future for better customization options.
3/4. Let me speak with the devs about this, probably we need to fix that.Anyway, about the company info: you can also create a “company info” block with the composer itself, and make it reusable (template) so you can have html editing capabilities.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterYes, my bad sorry, didn’t think of the new forms editor. As @Harry said, please install a Smtp plugin like Wp Mail Smtp and configure your from address there.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
1. You can configure a removal link by adding this tag: {usubscription_url}. Read more here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/newsletters/newsletter-tags/
2. Newsletters > Statistics icon > Links
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
could you send me a screenshot of Subscription > Settings > Antispam panel?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
1. what do you mean by “remove link” ?
2. No, you can’t do that from the newsletter itself, but after send is complete you can see who clicked on the various links on your newsletter, and add them to a list. You can also invite your subscribers to update their profile with a direct link to it.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
Newsletter doesn’t offer sending features, unlike Mailpoet. You are free to send with any service you’d like to, be it your own blog / hosting or through an external service (which we always recommend, based on your sending needs). So no Dns configuration is needed, if you need to connect to an external Smtp service we’d suggest to use Wp Mail Smtp plugin to handle that.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
we are not aware of issues on test sends on last version. If tests are sent from the Help > Sending panel, it means that your blog is able to send emails from the regular wp_mail function, so the issue should lie elsewhere, most probably on your Smtp settings. Please double check them and also try to briefly deactivate it, to try a send a test from the newsletter editing panel.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
the only correct shortcode is [newsletter_form], please read our documentation on how to create forms: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/subscription/subscription-form-shortcodes/. If that doesn’t work, please be sure that a valid Newsletter service page exists (the one with the shortcode [newsletter] inside).
Again, your account on thenewsletterplugin.com has nothing to do with how and from which address you’re sending newsletter from your website. Also reinstalling the plugin won’t be of any use. When you’re sending from a different address from the one that’s set in Wp, that address should be valid, it means a real mailbox should exist behind that address, or at least an alias.
Michael
KeymasterHello,
can you tell me your website url ?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
you probably have Antispam active and those subscriptions are triggering it. Please try disabling it and perform some tests.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
may I ask you what you mean by “i have already changed the license to a different email”? Licenses email have nothing to do with the address you’re sending your newsletters from. You should check which address is currently used by going to Settings > General > Sender.
About your subscription forms: do you have a live example I might look at?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Jenny,
please reach me out at michael@thenewsletterplugin.com, I’ll make you setup a temporary admin login for me so I can fix this for you.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
if you have various subscription forms in your website that are connected to various lists, an already subscribed user should be able to sign up multiple times if you set “Allowed” on Subscription > Settings > Subscription of existing subscribers. In this way, they’ll update their profile options regarding which lists they are subscribed to. Another option is to ask your subscribers to update their profile options with a dedicated newsletter and a direct link to their profile.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
if you have a valid license with us, I’d kindly ask you to open a ticket from your account area, so that our dedicated support team can help you.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
“enforced” means that a particular list is assigned to all subscribers, regardless of where they signed up from. Aside from this, you can’t currently specify different lists on various locked content locations. What is going to be shown will always be what you set in Locked Content panel.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello, if you’re logged in in your account area, try to go here directly: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/account/new-ticket.

Michael
KeymasterHello Jenny,

Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Rand,
do the same links work for other subscribers, then? Did you try them yourself?
Michael
Michael

no, as long as the newsletter remains active those links shouldn’t expire. May I ask you how did you check this issue?

first of all, you’re getting that message from Sendgrid because you exceeded your sending quota. You need to buy more credits by subscribing to one of their paid plans. You cannot do this in a single step of an Autoresponder’s serie.

yes the addons keep working also after license expiration, but this doesn’t mean that other issues may arise (unrelated to license). You’re getting that error when you’re trying to add an image in the gallery block, is that right?
Could you please take a look at your browser console to see if any particular message comes up there?

if you set the default list for that form after any users already subscribed, those users haven’t been added to any list. You need to select those users and add to the desired list manually.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Adam,
at the moment that’s not possible, unfortunately. I’ve passed this to our developers to evaluate a future integration.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
I’ve passed this to our developers, I’ll update you as soon as possible.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterIf you have “Repeated subscriptions” turned off, a block should be set after each subscriptions, but of course if the user clicks very rapidly on the same link, multiple subscriptions can be triggered. Based on our experience, this is fairly remote possibility, though.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Adam,
first of all, Newsletter doesn’t provide sending services, it’s just a tool. Sending engine must rely on your own server sending capabilities (with its own limits) or external services, free or paid. We highly suggest to use a dedicated Smtp plugin like Wp Mail Smtp or one of our addons if you bought / subscribed to one of the services we directly integrate with.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
you need to set 600 mails per hour in Newsletter’s settings.
Also take a look at Help > Delivery and check the statistics there to collect some real-world data on your sending speed.
Michael
KeymasterHello,
the widget form is provided as is, if you need to create a custom form, please read here:
https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/subscription/newsletter-forms/Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
you can’t embed a video inside a Newsletter. What our video block does, is to take the placeholder image for any given video url (Youtube, Vimeo, etc.), put it inside the newsletter and create a link to the actual video.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterYou’re welcome!
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
the single post block is part of the Extended Composer Blocks addon, which is included in our premium licenses.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
as I said, there are two different issues going on here.
1. That Dmarc message is probably caused by missing Spf and Dkim records or wrongly set. Please check this with your hosting provider.
2. To debug that php fatal error appearing when you click on Amazon SES addon, we need to take a look at the php logs. You can either activate WordPress debug mode / logging or look for php logs on your server. Let us have them, so we can verify whether that issue is caused by the old Ses addon or by something else (e.g. a conflict etc..)
Michael
KeymasterHello,
can you please paste here the url of your website?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
there are two different issues going on here. The first one, for which you’re getting the refusal message from Amazon SES, is that you didn’t set up DMARC record on your server. Please proceed to do so by contacting your hosting provider.
The other issue is caused by the fact that you can’t download updates to premium addons without a valid license. The addons will continue working without updates, but in the long run you may be missing critical updates and we do not guarantee them to work forever.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
if you’re using the composer, there is a block for importing single posts in the template. You can also select multiple categories from the Blog posts block.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
unsubscribe links are create dynamically in each sent newsletter. So there’s no way of manually using shortcodes in another software, as they won’t work. May I ask which other software are you currently using to send newsletters?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Renato,
we’re glad this has been solved. Saluti!
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Laurent,
using custom fields you can add any custom tag you’d like. Just set the custom field and then recall it using {profile_x}, where x is the number of the custom field. You don’t need filter to do this.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Renato,
yes, sorry for this delay. You need to contact the support team of Tablepress and tell them to register the shortcode at the Wp init without conditions, or at least to make it available during cron execution. You can link them to this thread or also have them contact us directly at stefano@thenewsletterplugin.com.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
we don’t plan adding this option in the near future, but If we get a lot of requests we might consider it. As I said, I’m not sure if this can be done with plugins alone or if you need some custom coding (more likely). Unfortunately we can’t offer support on these topics, I’d suggest hiring a developer and have this checked.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
at the moment we don’t have an addon for that service, however you should be able to send through it by using a Smtp plugin like WP Mail Smtp or such. I saw they offer a Smtp connection as well. It will be slightly less reliable than an API connection, but you should have no particular issues.

May 19, 2025 at 9:00 am in reply to: How to customize admin notification email after a new subscriber? #344419Michael
KeymasterHello Christiaan,
unfortunately at the moment there’s no such feature, not even in the paid version. I’ve passed this to our developers for further evaluation. We might consider adding this in one of the future Newsletter updates.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Paul,
the popup form included in the core plugin is offered as-is, we know it might not fit every situation (expecially where theme’s css interferes with our own styles). To improve readibility you should address some classes with custom styles (which you can insert using our custom styles box in settings). To do this a minimum knowledge of css is required. Another option is switching to our premium leads addon, which sports some more advanced options.
Ps. I took a brief look to your website and as an audio equipment enthusiast I’d like to say I loved your creations : ) Kudos from Italy!
Michael
KeymasterHello,
this won’t be a core feature of the plugin in the near future, as I said in my last reply, this could be probably done with a combination of some plugins.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Miguel,
unfortunately at the moment there’s no such feature. I’ve passed this to our developers for further evaluation and, possibly, to add this in our roadmap.
Thanks for your feedback,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
please try the following:
– uninstall Newsletter Smtp addon
– install Wp mail smtp (https://wpmailsmtp.com/) or suremail (https://suremails.com/) plugins
– add your Sendgrid login credential
– perform some testsAlso, check in Help > Scheduler if you have any notifications there.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Amit,
please note that if you’re using our external Smtp addon, you’re connecting to Sendgrid using Smtp protocol, not APIs (which are usually more reliable, we do have a premium addon for that), but even with the Smtp there should be no particular sending speed issues. Regarding the screenshots you sent me: I guess those stats are from Newsletter version 7.8.9, can I take a look at the same stats but relative to your last send? Also, did you take a look at Sendgrid logs to see if there’s anything unusual there?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
no, I didn’t get your emails. Anyway yes, sorry for the confusion: profile_nn is of course one of our tags, we execute it before the parent shortcode so that’s why you correctly see the rendered user id in the sent newsletter. Now we need to check why the tablepress shortcode doesn’t get rendered. I’ll get back to you shortly. Please let’s keep communicating here.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Renato,
I didn’t get your email yet, but anyways, I took a look at the shortcode you’re trying to use. You’re basically putting a shortcode inside a shortcode, the latter gets rendered correctly, the “parent” one doesn’t. Is that right? Can you tell me where the second shortcode (profile_nn) is coming from?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
if you’re using our Sendgrid premium addon and you have a valid license, please open a ticket from your account area so we can better help you with premium support.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
is this a duplicate post of this one https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/forums/topic/slow-delivery-of-newsletter ?
If yes, please do not try to contact us in multiple locations, that will slow down support resolution times and confuse other users.
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello Renato,
inserting that kind of content inside a Newsletter could be problematic, but anyway I find it weird that it works in the test email. Could you please send a test email to michael@thenewsletterplugin.com ?
Thanks,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterThanks!
Michael
KeymasterHello Thomas,
sorry for this delay. We recently added some options to the Events Manager addon, however what you’re asking would require further developments, which we already planned based on your suggestions.
In the meantime, please take a look at last version and see if it has improved for your needs.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
we do not provide support on these topics, however it’s simple css, look up the selectors from your browser console and target them with the desired rules. You can input them in the custom styles box inside General Settings.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello, please check your css. Remove the “>”
div.tnp-subscription input, div.tnp-field input {
border: solid 1px #bbb;
}Michael
KeymasterHi Antonio,
we’ve wrote pretty much everything is worth knowing on spam subscriptions on this documentation page: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation/subscription/antiflood/
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
we’re in the process of making some modifications of the massive actions that users can perform from subscriber list panel. Stay tuned!

KeymasterHello,
that custom css is added to the main newsletter code, can you please try to create a custom rule, add it there, save and then proceed to create a new newsletter (in which you’d expect to see that custom rule reflected)?

KeymasterHello,
I’ve passed this to our developers for further evaluation. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Thomas,
I’m not sure I understood what you’re trying to obtain here. Do you need to pick only current month events when sending a newletter in the first days of the same month, is that right? And the same goes for “next month events” newsletter? If that is so, we don’t have such an option at the moment, I will pass this to our developers for further evaluation.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterOk,
I’ll take a deeper look into this, I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Kazimierz,
if you have a valid pro license, please open a ticket from your account area, so our dedicated support can reach out.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterThat’s correct, it’s the default WordPress sender name for service emails. So we know it’s not an issue on your email client. Try to change sender name and save again, then perform another test send. Also flush cache if you have a caching system in place (I don’t believe this helps but you never know).
Michael
Michael
KeymasterJust received, thanks. I can confirm that the email address is showing, not the sender name. Are you sending using an external Smtp service?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterNo worries!
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
glad to hear this has been solved.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
could you please send a test email from Help > Delivery to michael@thenewsletterplugin.com?
Thanks
Michael
KeymasterHello,
I’m not sure what you’re asking, we have a custom posts block available among premium blocks in our composer, you can use that to import custom posts in a brand new newsletter. You don’t need any coding skill to do that.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
sorry, I misunderstood your request. Subscribers acquired after saving the schedule will be added to the sending queue (if not other targetization is selected). Counter will update after sending is over.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Ben,
thanks for letting us know and glad you’ve solved this.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Rebecca,
1. That would require some further customization, if you need to hook the action to a custom order status. A skilled developer might be able to do this but we do not offer support on these matters.
2. A gallery block is included in the paid composer blocks.
3. Yes you can : )
Let me know if you need anything else,
MichaelMichael
KeymasterHello,
at the moment it’s not possible, unfortunately. Custom post types can imported via Cpt block only.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
may I ask what you mean by “schedule”? Are you using Automated addon?
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
we don’t have such an option at the moment, I’m sorry. I’ll pass this to our developers in order to add this option in the future.

April 17, 2025 at 10:35 am in reply to: How to Send Welcome Email with Coupon Code (WooCommerce)? #343204Michael
KeymasterHello,
sending issues aside, welcome emails are sent automatically to every new subscriber. You can check this by performing a test subscription from your subscription form.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello,
you can make a selection of your blog posts prior to creating the newsletter, and group them by adding a custom category. Then you can use the normal posts block and select that category.

KeymasterHello,
no, Newsletter is a newsletter management tool, what you’re looking at is a simple notification system. WordPress has this embedded, with some limitations, but it mostly depends on which theme or plugin you’re using.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterAny customization should be made from the Subscription > Confirmation page, please click reset in this panel and save. I don’t think Cloudflare and Wordfence would interfere. Eddy, please reach me at michael@thenewsletterplugin.com
Michael
Michael
KeymasterAlso, please try to deactivate “Customize” radio button when “Default” is selected instead of “Composer”. Remeber to save that, then switch back to “Composer” and save again.
Michael
KeymasterThat looks correct, did you try a test send from there? Does that work?
Michael
KeymasterHello Eddy,
no, that’s not possible. I’d really need to take a look at a screenshot of your settings, specifically the Confirmation > Email tab. You can use any image sharing tool to send me that.
Michael
Michael
KeymasterHello Eddy,
try the following:
go to Subscription > Confirmation and switch to “Email” tab.
Select “Composer” from the dropdown.
Delete all blocks from the visual composer and add the “Html” block.
Paste your code there.

April 7, 2025 at 9:15 am in reply to: Have a subscriber choose what industry they work for and filter on that value #342652Michael
KeymasterHello,
you can send out a newsletter to multiple lists of course, but in that way there would be no differentiate stats per list, not even with the pro license, however this is an interesting feature and I’ve already informed our developers, we will think about adding this in the future.
Michael
April 4, 2025 at 10:25 am in reply to: Have a subscriber choose what industry they work for and filter on that value #342572Michael
KeymasterHello Reetesh,
yes you can do that even with the free version, however I’d recommend switching to one of our pro licenses in order to get more insights on each newsletter campaign. Basically, when a subscribers signs up you’ll ask for which industry they work for (or you can set this manually for each subscriber, without asking them, or again, you can ask them to update their profile). This means they will be assigned to a list. Then, you send a campaign (even the same, repeated) to each list and simply compare results.

you can lower the sending speed on Newsletter general settings, but I also suggest to run some spam check tests.
