ParticipantSo I have a general newsletter/mail list for company news etc. Now I need an additional mailing list for a newsletter that differs from the original (on the subject).
Is that possible and how (incl a subscriber form of course)? An additional challenge: If one subscribes- would it be possible to lead/link that subscriber to a specific URL directly (if not, then maybe in a ‘thx for subscribing’ email)?

KeymasterHello,
the best way to differentiate between subscribers is by using lists and custom forms. You create a new custom form where every new subscription gets assigned to a list, then you use that list to target those subscribers with your campaigns. I’m not sure I understood the second part of your post, could you please elaborate on that?
Thanks,

ParticipantThx Michael.
Forget about the second part for now.
So does that mean I will have to create a custom form first and then a list, or does the list come with a new form?
Would you please direct me on how to doe this or where I can find a manual to set this up?December 13, 2025 at 10:09 pm #352060Can Akkaya
ParticipantStrategy change: If I’d use the existing subscription form.
Would it be possible to use the original subscriber form on a other page, and there to have an added check box?
If the subscriber checks that box- he would get a customized confirmation email. If not, he would be still signed up but would not get a custom email.
Would that be possible- or any other ideas to cover that concept?December 15, 2025 at 7:40 am #352101Michael
KeymasterHello,
you can use checkboxes on any form, if the user checks one of them, he gets assigned to that list. Please check our documentation articles on forms.

ParticipantWell I tried and I’m not getting it done.
Not that easy, as I need this more specific:
– I have a general newsletter/subscriber form/list. (and that’s hopefully still working)
– I need another subscriber form and list, and another/different automated message for those who are signing up for the new list.Ideally, those who are signing up with the new list, getting also automatically signed for the general list.
Again… i tried, but i can’t get it done. I need hands-on help here please.
Thanks.December 19, 2025 at 8:10 am #352290Michael
KeymasterHello,
your main form will add subscribers to list “A” > go to Subscription > Lists and create list “A” and set it as Enforced and private, so every new subscriber will be added to that list automatically.
your other forms, which you should create by going to Forms > Html forms (read documentation), will work the same way, but with different lists (which you should create beforehand and you may set them as public or private).

KeymasterEven better than html forms (which anyway should give you complete control) you can use forms like [newsletter_form list="x"], where “x” is the public list number you want to be assigned to that forms’ subscribers.
