    Good morning.

When sending newsletters, I’m encountering a large number of SMTP-related errors (each for a different reason), and some recipients are not receiving the newsletters. Until a few months ago, these errors didn’t appear, but recently they’ve become very frequent and occur at a high rate.

Would you be able to suggest any way to avoid these errors and ensure the emails are delivered correctly?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

may I ask you which version of Newsletter are you currently running?

Hi, go to the SMTP configuration (Newsletter/Settings/SMTP) and change the option “continue on errors” to “Yes”.
If you update to the latest SMTP addon version, even with the error checking active it now tries to distinguish single email delivery errors and does not block anymore.
(but every SMTP server replies in different ways…)

Hello. Thank you for your comment, but my question in this case wasn’t about that. My concern is that, from a few months ago until now, we’ve been experiencing multiple sending errors (each of a different type) when sending newsletters. What I’d like to know is whether there’s any way to reduce these errors. For example, here are some of the errors we’re encountering:

    1) SMTP Error: The following recipients failed: xxx@xxx.com: TenantAttribution; Relay Access Denied [No TLS] [DU2PEPF00028D12.eurprd03.prod.outlook.com 2025-07-31T06:35:11.991Z 08DDCC38D23F2E22]

    2) SMTP Error: The following recipients failed: xxx@xxx.es: Mail received as unauthenticated, incoming to a recipient domain configured in a hosted tenant which has no mail-enabled subscriptions. ATTR5 [DU2PEPF00028D0D.eurprd03.prod.outlook.c

    3) SMTP Error: The following recipients failed: xxx@xxx: Mail sent to the wrong Office 365 region. ATTR35. For more information please go to https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=865268 [No TLS] [AMS0EPF000001AB.eurprd05.prod.outlook.

I’m not sure if there might be some configuration that would allow me to bypass these errors. Thank you in advance.

Hi, those errors are generated by the SMTP server; you should contact that service provider to know more about their nature, but looking at your example, it is the receiving mail service refung them for different reasons.
There is nothing you can do in the Newsletter plugin.

Alright. Thanks for the clarification. On that note, would you happen to know how I could find out from which IP the newsletters are being sent?

Hi, you can send yourself an email, to a gmail account, and using the right menu, open the email source. Here there is the “Received-From” sequence and you can try to find out the IP.
