    Hey guys,

I’m looking for an option to change the line-height in a textblock. Or even better an HTML-view. Is there a hook to add this to the texteditor options in Composer? I didn’t find anything in the docs. MailPoet e.g. offers an HTML button in the editor and then opens a modal with the source code of the text.

    Thanks
    Harry

    Hello,

we do not offer the option to edit composer blocks as html (you can edit the newsletter as a whole in html, but once you’ve switched to html you can’t go back to the visual composer). We do have an html block where you can insert anything you’d like to, but of course that needs to be coded from scratch. I’ve passed this to our developers for further evaluation though.

Thanks Michael. Just to make sure we’re on the same page, here is a small mockup:

The font-size is not really useabled without line-height. Make the font very small or very large and you’ll see, why.

    Hello Harry,

I’m not seeing any errors when setting fonts in different sizes. Line height is always using a default value if it’s not specified elsewhere.

    Hi Michael,

I just checked. The line-height is set to 1.5 by default (which is pretty large).

It is only in the editor on the right they run into one another withvery large font sizes:

Whatever, I think a setting would be nice on this 😉

    Hello Harry,

yes, you’re right, what you see on the editor is clearly a bug, and we’ll fix it. Line height on larger fonts is by default pretty wide, I think the only option is to add a setting for that. I’ve passed this to our developers as well.

    Thanks for your feedback,
    Michael
