ParticipantOK, will do that. One humble question: The date of my post is November, 27th. However, I posted this question at least two weeks ago. Your answer was posted 1 minute after my post was published. This is, of course, too good to be true.
I know that support is usually very slow. But this has never happened before. A glitch?MKJ
ParticipantWill I get an answer to a PRE-SALE question? Well, I don’t think so.

ParticipantCommon guys, I am willing to pay money! Why do you need that much time to answer a pretty simple question. I want to BUY your product! Thank you!

ParticipantHi,
I checked EVERYTHING. I can’t find any problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.MKJ
ParticipantSame problem here. Have never tested this case. The validation seems not to work correctly.
MKJ
ParticipantThanks. Of course, I know how to set a filter to deregister styles. However, it is best practice to implement that in the plugin core. Apart from that, I really can’t see any reason to use so many !important rules in the plugin css in the first place. Don’t get me wrong. I really like your plugin. Consider it a friendly suggestion.

ParticipantHi there,
an answer to this not so trivial issue would be very much appreciated. It’s really only a tiny modification that would make things much safer.
MKJ
ParticipantOk, thank you. So I assume, that everything is working fine.

ParticipantHi,
two months later I use version 4.1.3, and the bug is still there. Could you please at least give us an answer? Since we use Google campaigns for tracking, it is crucial that the built-in tracking is set off. It would be nice to have the correct indication on the overview page.
Thank you!

ParticipantThank you very much. I think this did the trick. No false alarms anymore.
MKJ
ParticipantOK, thank you very much.

ParticipantGreat, worked! Thank you very much for the excellent support!!
MKJ
ParticipantI didn’t say it was an infection. My installation was clean according to Wordfence and my own file scans.

ParticipantHi, I have the latest version installed. And yes, I am able to modify any files. I’ll send you a PM.
Thanks a lot for the great support!
Edit: Well, can’t find your email 🙂 Could you post a link to the file? I would like to avoid publishing my email.

ParticipantHi Stefano,
thank you very much. The site is http://www.findyournose.com/. The widget in in the sidebar somewhere in the middle.
See the screenshots for further information.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi there,
thanks for the reply. I’ve just installed Wordfence and let it scan the site. Everything is fine. I always have file monitoring enabled on my sites. It is very unlikely that the site can be hacked without any notification. Blocking the romanian IP seems to do the trick. However, I don’t really know how the email spamming was possible.
MKJ
ParticipantHi Stefano,
it’s very unlikely that this is a bot trying subscription, I guess. We should then see much more non-confirmed subscribers. Our Provider told us, that more than 3000 emails were sent through subscribe.php from a romanian IP. But we had only 10 or so non-confirmed subscriptions. Very weird. We blocked the IP. That seems to do the trick. However, would be nice to know what’s going on here. The Support told us also that this problem appeared on several installations of other customers. I’ll keep you posted. Don’t get me wrong: I don’t blame the plugin for having any security issues.
MKJ
ParticipantNo, I did not activate this feature. How exactly does it work? I can’t see any difference in the source code after enabling the antibot.
Thanks!
Mike
MKJ
ParticipantThanks for the hint. You are right. The newsletter shortcode was missing. Great support! Keep up the good work!
MKJ
ParticipantJust user the array_reverse of PHP.
That did the trick. Thank you very much!
MKJ
ParticipantThank you!
MKJ
ParticipantHi Stefano,
thank you! I get the point. It would be great if the user could decide whether to use the WordPress editor or the newsletter editor. Most plugins use the WP editor by default. But it makes sense that this might be a problem, if some functions (like tables) are not available.
Mike
MKJ
ParticipantI probably found the problem. The sent date is sometimes wrong. When I change the date after the newsletter was sent, the “email opened” statistics is reset to zero.
Thanks!
Mike

ParticipantThank You!

ParticipantDo you use the “Return Path” and “Reply to” fields in the basic setting? Try to leave them blank. Didn’t work for me with these fields filled out.
Mike
MKJ
ParticipantThe same here with 3.1.0. and WordPress 3.4.1. Editors can’t create emails. I deactivated “Adminimize”. Still the same problem. Access for editors is enabled in the configuration.
Thanks in advance!
