Hi! I’ve the same problem.
I’ve just install the plugin, but it gave me that error when I try to insert a mail in the newsletter,
the error log:

Hi! Yes option in other plugin are saved. I saw that there is a problem with:
Database wait timeout: KO Your database wait timeout is 240 seconds
That value is low and could produce database connection errors while sending emails. Ask the provider to raise it at least to 300 seconds.

Now I’m trying to solve it, could it be the problem?
