ParticipantOkay, so I changed the sender mail to wordpress@domain…
Now test mails are sent from that address, but what’s more interesting, now the sender name is wordpress. I sent a testmail to your test mailbox as well.There is a mailbox for nyhedsbrev@domain… but not for wordpress@domain…
I already have another plugin that sends mails, those are always from wordpress@domain… (not configurable).
I have created a WP user for you. You should have received a default WP welcome mail.

ParticipantActually, right now, after sending a test mail, I notice the filters has changed. Now it says:
Filters applied to WP mailing system (phpmailer_init)
[100] NewsletterDefaultMailer::fix_mailerMakro
ParticipantSenderName was set to “DanskeMotorCyklister”, but I have just changed it and resend to your test mail.

ParticipantHi Stefano.
There are two filter boxes:
Filters applied to WP mailing system (phpmailer_init)
None.Filters applied to WP mailing system (pre_wp_mail)
None.Makro
ParticipantOkay, I have changed the sender name in /wp-admin/admin.php?page=newsletter_main_main and send another test mail. Unfortunately, nothing has changed 🙁

ParticipantWell, there is no SMTP plugin installed, so WordPress uses the server’s functions to send mail.
When mails are generated by another plugin, it simply uses the sender name “WordPress”.
