BUGREPORT: Turn off confirmation emails – woocommerce

It is possible to turn off confirmation emails, when user is added on woocommerce checkout.

However when we select “No” in WPadmin-Newsletter > WooCommerce section on the option: Send users an email to confirm subscription?
the system still sends an confirmation email to every user who successfully completes wc ccheckout.

Please fix this or let us know of any incompatibilities, thanks!

Hi actually not, we’re working to add more options on each subscription startpoint (widget, woocommerce, form, registration) to add more control. For example in your case disabling confirmation email means to use single opt in for woocommerce registrations.

We set Opt-In to Single Opt-in under tab General here: /wp-admin/admin.php?page=newsletter_subscription_options
We set Ask users to subscribe to “No” and Enable WooCommerce Extension to “Yes”. We set Send users an email to confirm subscription to “No”. We checked two preference lists where woocommerce customers are supposed to be added on checkout by default.

However our test user receives a confirmation email from newsletter plugin after successfull checkout – even though we set confirmation email to No in Woocommerce extension of your plugin.

Any ideas?
