The API folder desapeard

Hi ,

i update the newsletter plugin few days ago and it looks that the API folder (for the REST API documented here https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/plugins/newsletter/rest-api) disapeard.
Is it normal ?
Did the url change ?

Yes, we’re required to remove it to adhere to some WP best practices. We’re going to release a free extension to get them back as a separate plugin.
And, yes, the url will change.

We use the API a lot and it’s really a problem for us.
How can we fix it before you finish the free extension ?

Hi Stefano,

after 1 month without news from you, i did the plugin myself.
You can find it here : https://www.handicap-job.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/newsletter-api.zip
to give to your subscribers
To use it, just call the http://YOURWEBSITE/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=api_thenewsplug
and add your parameters (same as before, with the API key) in GET or POST and also don’t forget to add the parameter act with value “add” to add or “del”.
From your side, to say thanks you, it can be cool if you can renew my subscription for 1 year 😉
