Subscribers suddenly all gone

I can’t imagine anyone in the office even accidentally deleting our subscriber base, but it’s just… empty now. Any idea what could’ve happened, or a way to add them all back based on the last successfully sent newsletter?

Went to try and add myself as a subscriber, but it says “This subscriber already exists.” Something’s up here, but I have no idea what
