Subscribe button at bottom of site not responding

I’m very new to this, I had a website company that I was working with that shut down because of other clients not happy with them. Long story short I was left with a half working site. The subscription button was working on their staging site but now its on my hosted server and not working. It seems like there is a broken link somewhere. originally (when it worked) When someone would fill in their email and clicks subscribe it would take them to a different page confirming they subscribed and an email would be sent for confirmation. and Also when working the email would show up on the dashboard…… Now nothing happens, when someone enters their email and clicks subscribe it keeps them on the same page and nothing happens on the back end either. Please help I’m lost!

Without the site address where to check the problem is impossible to debug it :-). Could you share it?
