I noticed that segmentation of newsletter recipients is only available for standard profile fields, but not for custom ones. Extra profile fields can only be used as tags in content of e-mails. Is it planned to include them in the future? Does the paid reports plugin expand on this? As I understand it, it allows creating some segments based on who opened and such.
It’s planned, but it could be a problem with profile field, which are free text, that are not collected limiting the user input.

Has this been updated? Is it possible to have segmentation of newsletter recipients also with custom profile fields? And Can profile fields have another type say ‘checkbox’ or ‘date’ instead of just ‘Text’ and ‘List’?
