Responsive drag and drop doesn't save the edits when updating Last posts

We are using the drag and drop option. When creating the newsletter we use the Last posts as part of our content. This is all well and good except for when you hit the edit button and click save, then you will go back to the textcolor, some added text “The twelve jurors were all writing very busily on slates.” that I can’t get it to not put in there whenever I update.

Also how do I change the background color on the heading? It is a blackish color and when I change it in the edit, it only changes on the outside of the black square.
