    HELP!!! I just installed the latest update from the Newsletter Plugin and now my own created theme is gone. I invested a lot of time and money in that theme. I can’t afford to lose it. Where are the deleted themes stored?

    Every plugin update (by WordPress) deletes the plugin folder. You should not store modification in any plugin folder, but use custom location when provided by plugins. For example, Newsletter make available a special folder for custom themes. See the custom theme page:

    But how do I get my theme back? I cannot afford to code it again. And I definitely didn’t delete it. So it wasn’t my fault. I could code it again and send you the bill for my work. Or you tell me where I can find a backup of the files YOUR Plugin deleted without my permission. But those are the only options, period.

    If this were my customer, I’d terminate them.
