how to integrate newsletter registration to a non-wp registration form?

Hi,
I am using the plugin with in a directory website where users can register and have a profile. The directory plugin (GeoDirectory) has it’s own registration form. How can I integrate the newsletter registration in to this registration form? so people could join the newsletter with an extra click?
If I was using the regulare WordPress login, I could have used your great option under wp user integration, but I need to find another way…

You can try to use our free extension “wp users integration”, probably it will work out-of-box in your case.
