    Hi

    I have NOT ticked the gender field in the Standard forms section nor anywhere else.

    When I click “manage subscription” after receiving a newsletter the gender field shows up, too – in our circles that is a big no no.

    How can I turn this off?

    Hi, have you configured the profile form options on Subscribers/Profile page? Probably the field is enabled on that configuration.

    No I had not – for a newcomer it’s a little confusing.
    I saw an option in Forms -> Standard -> Main Fields -> Gender.
    That was turned off.
