Force new user subscription, Auth0 plugin for sign up

Hello —

My client would like to automatically sign up all new users for their newsletter, but when I tested the “yes, force subscription” option in the Newsletter settings, it didn’t add the new user I created to the newsletter subscription list.

We’re using the Auth0 plugin for user sign up and login, so I’m wondering if that might be blocking the log-in events that Newsletter listens for?

Are there other settings I should be aware of to make this auto sign up work?

You should ask the plugin author is it uses the standard methods of WP to signup users and spacially if the event “user_register” is fired with his signup system.
