    Hi,
    When a reader try to subscribe to ma free newsletter (the website is free),
    he received a “Error 404” message and his subscription is not confirmed.
    I am not a geek

    I had this problem.

    Did you check the logs? Go to “status” and look down at the bottom.

    I deactivated Akismet and the problem went away.

    Hi, a 404 could be issued if the newsletter dedicated page has been removed. Check the main setting for the dedicated page.
