Looking for a little troubleshooting help with the bounce extension.

I’m using a dedicate gmail address to manage bounces and set it up so POP is enabled, but am having trouble configuring the the extension so the test doesn’t return the error message: POP3 connect: Error [110] [Connection timed out]

The little gmail guide on enabling pop provided these:
    pop.gmail.com
    Requires SSL: Yes
    Port: 995

    or

    smtp.gmail.com
    Requires SSL: Yes
    Requires TLS: Yes (if available)
    Requires Authentication: Yes
    Port for SSL: 465
    Port for TLS/STARTTLS: 587

I’ve tried a bunch of different combinations of those as well as trying both username@gmail.com for the login and just username in the login bar. So far, everything spits back the same error.

Any info anyone can provide on which of these provided by google should be the host/port, etc? Or other troubleshooting tips for people who have also set up bounce using a gmail account?

    Thanks!

Connection timeout means you have not enabled the pop3 service on gmail OR your provider is blocking that kind of connections. Check both.

I have double checked that pop service is enabled on google. I’ve tried allowing more apps access to google, but it still isn’t working. How might gmail be blocking bounce that I can change?
