Benefit of wp user ID in newsletter subscriber info

Hello,

I just imported my newsletter subscribed users from another shop platform to WordPress-Woocommerce via the CSV import panel on The Newsletter plug-in page. The subscribers are now known by The Newsletter plugin, but the account details miss the link with the WP users table (WP user ID).

I can script or sql this and copy the WP user id to The Newsletter plug-in accounts, but what benefits do it bring? Or what functionality is extra available if the WP user ID is known in the account of each subscribed?

If the WP-ID is there, Newsletter will get user related info from the user (email, name, …) and you can even address the newsletter targeting only subscribers which are connected to a wp user.
