Anonymous tracking support in Automated extension

Hello,

We use The Newsletter Plugin for both manually created newsletters and daily newsletters generated through the Automated extension.

Following the new Italian Data Protection Authority guidelines on email tracking, we would like to use anonymous tracking only, retaining aggregated statistics (opens, clicks, engagement rates, etc.) without tracking individual subscribers.

While anonymous tracking appears to be available for manually created newsletters, Automated only seems to offer an on/off tracking option. Disabling tracking removes all engagement statistics, while enabling it appears to activate standard, subscriber-level tracking.

Is there a way to enable anonymous tracking for newsletters generated by Automated, preserving aggregated campaign statistics without collecting subscriber-level tracking data?

If this is not currently supported, are there plans to introduce it?
