Adding descriptions to lists?

Hi there,
I’m quite new to newsletter and just setting up some lists. My problem is getting some descriptions to the single listname.
For example I’ve set up the following lists which are shown under the subscription form:
– list 1
– list 2
– list 3
– list 4
…

What I want is something like this:
– list 1
Some cool description here.
– list 2
Another fine description
– list 3
Description maybe with bullet-points?
– list 4
….

Is there a way to get this solved? I appreciate any help! 🙂
