Add link using "Add Media"

Hi,
I’m using the Newsletter plugin to let a customer send newsletters by himself.
I click “Add media”, select the attachment and then click “insert into post”: subsequently i have to click on “edit link” in your editor and set a title, or the link won’t show. Is there a way to do this in a single step?
