    I attempted to send a newsletter, and as soon as an error occurred, the process was halted. This didn’t happen a few months ago—errors were logged, but the sending continued. Here’s the error message:

    Stopped due to a fatal error:
    SMTP Error: The following recipients failed: xxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xx
    TenantAttribution; Relay Access Denied [No TLS] [AM3PEPF0000A795.eurprd04.prod.outlook.com 2025-09-29T15:10:08.884Z 08DDFBA82C462876]

    I’d like to know how I can configure the system so that the sending doesn’t stop when an error occurs, or how to prevent this error from happening.

    hi, please, update the SMTP addon to the latest version (1.2.2), it has the option to stop on fatal error or not.
    Since the SMTP errors are not very standardised, the addon cannot know if an error is systematic (for example, an overquota) or specific to a single address.
    With that setting you can control the behavior.

    Hi Stefano, thank you very much for your response.
    It’s true that I currently have the SMTP addon installed in version 1.2.1, but at the moment, no update to version 1.2.2 appears to be available in WordPress.

    Try to save the main newsletter setting so the version cache is reset. Thanks.

    Sorry Stefano, I’m not quite sure what you mean exactly. Where can I do what you’re suggesting?

    Hello,

    just go to the Settings panel inside Newsletter and hit save. Then, the update should show up.

    Thank you very much, Michael. Indeed, I’ve been able to update it now. Where could I enable the option for a newsletter to be sent even if it encounters errors, as Stefano mentioned earlier?

    Hello,

    you should see an option called “Continue newsletter sending on errors” in Smtp main panel. If there isn’t, please make sure you’re running Smtp addon v 1.2.2
