    Hi! I would like to confirm new subscribers myself instead of them being automatically confirmed. But I cannot find the setting in the plugin or the info in the documentation! Sorry to bother. Thank you!

    Hello,

    just remove the confirmation link from the confirmation email, and instead say something like “An administrator will confirm your subscription shortly”.
