Hello, I use the free version of Newsletter. It does a fine job with showing the latest posts, but when I try to add an image to the newsletter it just locks up the plugin and the whole site. I have no idea why this is happening, so any pointers to explanations and fixes would be appreciated. I have no problem adding text or headings, but anything with an image from my media library locks it up.
Thanks,
Harry
Thanks for the quick response! I can open the media gallery and select the image, but then I get the spinning circle, and the whole site stops working for a short while.
I think I found the problem, interaction with another plugin. It’s called The Paste, (Version 2.1.3 By Jörn Lund), which is used to paste images directly into the media library, rather than saving them first. It hasn’t been tested with the latest version of WordPress. I deactivated it, and that solved the issue! The image showed up in the newsletter immediately.
glad to see you’ve worked this out. We’re here to help should you need anything else.
