Following our goal to make Newsletter compatible with the most popular multilanguage plugins for WordPress, we released today a new free extension which is a bridge between Newsletter and TranslatePress.
TranslatePress is a plugin which adds multilanguage support to WordPress with a nice and easy to use interface that allows users to translate their blog directly from the frontend.
TranslatePress is different from WPML and Polylang: it provides even an administration language selector. This extension adds this little feature to blogs running TranslatePress to fill the gap when configuring Newsletter, adding the ability to choose the language on our administration panels.
Anyway, there is a limitation: the current implementation does not support the extraction of translated posts to autocompose newsletters in a specific language, a feature available with WPML and Polylang.
However, the subscription experience and the list-language binding is available so you can create language specific newsletter and send it to the right readers.
Learn more on our multilanguage support, and feel free to ask questions in our forum if something is not clear or if you need more directions.
You can find the TranslatePress bridge extension in your Newsletter extensions panel.
