So we want to set up a preference for people to get a weekly update from another category on the site.

    How can I do this?

I found /admin.php?page=newsletter_subscription_profile is the place to add extra profile fields, but I’m at a loss as to how to configure it.

How do I configure an extra profile field for Fitness Tips?

We want only people who sign up to get the weekly update to get the update. We do NOT expect our current subscribers to all want the extra information. It’s great if those who sign up for the updates also get our weekly newsletter.

How do I send to only those within an extra profile field?

    Thanks

It’s in the blog info section

    In WP go to

Newsletter – Configuration – Advanced Settings – Email Body Content Encoding – and select 8-bit

That worked for an ISP that many of our subscribers use, but understand you may need to troubleshoot the right setting for your subscribers.

    I’ve got a screenshot here

Just so you know… I got it working for everyone with the 8-bit setting.

Thanks for helping out. I’m going to be promoting this with others in my niche. (pastors)

It’s set to the default. Should I try setting it to base 64 or is that the problem?

The users I know that are having issues all use the same ISP provider for their mail. Could that be part of the issue?

I guess testing base 64 is a good place to start.
