    Hi,

I typically send out newsletters that reach roughly 860 different emails, however, it is sending out very very slowly. I’ve checked with my host and ISP and I’m not being throttled back on my speeds as well as set the plugin to a very high setting (1000 per hour max). After submitting a newsletter to send, I watch the mail queue, and I see that the newsletter emails populate it [the mail queue] very slowly.

All in all it seems it takes upwards of 4-5 days for all my emails to simply reach my mail queue in order to send.

Did you set up a cron job to keep the delivery engine working right? See the Delivery Engine page on my site starting from the Newsletter official page.

My delivery is also too slow to use. It used to be fine.  Do you have a link to the Delivery Engine Page?  I couldn’t find it.

    Thanks

Start from http://www.satollo.net/plugins/newsletter or on top of the administration side of Newsletter the link on delivery engine next run.

I don’t get the test email even though I am on the list to do so.  Also, many of my subscribers are not getting my newsletter, including myself.  Delivery is also very slow.  Please help.  Thanks.

Hi, did you changed the delivery engine speed and set up a cron call as explained on Newsletter Delivery Engine page?

And which is your provider? I hope not GoDaddy…

    Stefano.

    Hi Stefano,
Where is the Delivery Engine Page?  I don’t see it.
BTW, I don’t use GoDaddy.  Do they suck?

    The page is here: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/plugins/newsletter/newsletter-delivery-engine.

About GoDaddy they are very limited about emails, and as has been reported by user they don’t allow connections to external SMTP (which is very bad IMHO).

What settings should I use to prevent Gmail from kicking back my newsletter delivery?

Gmail lets only 500 email per day. It’s an incredible low limit for a newsletter. 500 emails per day divided by 24 hours is 20 emails per hours, this is the limit you should set on main configuration panel.

Okay, I will try 20 emails/hour.  Do I need to keep my browser running, or can I close wordpress?

    Thanks,

You can close your browser. If you have a low traffic site, it should be better to setup a cron job as explained on newsletter delivery engine page.
