Update failed and broke our install

Attempted to update to the latest version, which failed with the error:

Installing the latest version…
Warning: The package could not be installed. “The package contains no files.”
Plugin update failed.

Tried running Newsletter but it’s broke (just refreshes the same page when trying to Test or Send). So copied backup we made of plugin, but still broke 🙁

Is anyone able to assist please?

Hi, the main plugin is distributed by WP.org and in our blog it updated correctly to version 7.8.3. Are you using the update feature of WP or uploading the zip directly?

Tried the official update first, when that failed I uploaded the zip directly. Neither worked, but more worryingly Newsletter is now broke 🙁

Also, we have a paid subscription, but your support form doesn’t work, I’ve tried submitting a support ticket three times on different browsers, no errors, it just re-displays the support form after submitting and when I click on “my tickets” it says I haven’t got any!

Please can a support staff member contact me asap.
