    Hi,

    an user reported to have received an unsubscription confirmation email without actually unsubscribing.

    Looking at the backend panel I can confirm that the user got unsubscribed.

    My current version is 3.6.3

    This is very strange, it means the unsubscribe link has been followed in an automated and hidden mode…

    Hm, how could that happen? the link could have been published somewhere or be accessible by bots?

    Every antovirus (local or remote) can see the content of an email an follow the link. This is why the link leads to a page with some javascript to try to block bots.
