    Hi Stefano,

    after a newsletter a subscriber told me he cannot click on a link of an article. Now I found out he uses Outlook 2007. But why does the link not work?

    I compared some links in the newsletter and I found out that it could be connected to special characters in the URL. The problem-link has at the end

    http://www….com/?nltr=MTE4OzQyMzU7…pY2h0LTIvOw%3D%3D

    which is in real

    http://www….com/?nltr=MTE4OzQyMzU7…pY2h0LTIvOw==

    So perhaps Outlook 2007 has a problem with these “=” in the url. Could you please avoid such special characters in the new “Tracking URL”?

    Thanks!

    Actually the code uses the PHP urlencode, maybe there are version of PHP (or a “bug”) so the = is not encoded. I’ll check it.

    Hi Stefano,

    thanks. But the “=” is encoded I think, because on mouse-over in Outlook 2010 it is shown as above mentioned. Perhaps Outlook 2007 hat a problem with these encoded special-characters in URLs?
