Test fails – can't validate "from" email

I get the following error when doing the “test”
“SMTP -> ERROR: Failed to connect to server: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known (0)
<br />The following From address failed: info@valeriecarlton.com”

But it is a valid address, and when I do the test emails in the diagnostics, they come through fine using that as the “from” email.
