Responsive newsletter themes?

Hi – Is it possible to create a theme for the Newsletter plugin that is “responsive”, that is, one that will resize itself automatically to provide an enhanced user experience on a smaller mobile device screen like an Apple iPhone?

Creating a responsive email is rather complex, if not impossibile, since the mail reader usually are not enough advanced to accept CSS3 media query or javascript.

But a theme designed with all reference to measures in a relative way (for example using the percent values) can be something like a responsive theme.
