I have 3 preferences enabled for the profile form only. However, when I display the profile form on the Welcome page it displays 2 extra blank preferences. That is, there are 2 additional check boxes with no label.

I have checked the preferences thoroughly and there are only 3 preferences enabled. All of the others are set to Disabled/private.

Any idea how to fix this?

    Thanks!

Hi the two checkbox may be the options for the feed by mail and the follow up services. Did you enabled them? If not there is a bug, since the should not appear. If enabled, there is a field in both services panel where to give them a name.

    Let me know, thank you.

    Stefano.

The modules were installed but not enabled. I did confirm that the extra check boxes are the Feed By Mail and Follow Up check boxes. I entered descriptions for them to confirm. It seems there is no way to disable them other than to remove the extension from site.

Another thing I discovered is that if I enable Feed By Mail, the sidebar widget includes the Feed By Mail check box. It seems that this should be optional so that the Feed By Mail check box is visible on the Profile Form, Side Bar Widget, Both or Neither.

    Thanks for the timely response.

Hi I’ll check tonight the problem of the check boxes shown even with disabled modules, probably it’s a bug.

About the feed by mail check box shown on subscription form, you should be able to change the display setting from the feed by mail panel (you should be able to set if forced to all users, or shown as an option).

Anyway I’ll check even this thing. What feed by mail version are you using?

Not sure where to see the version number. But I just purchased the modules on May 4, 2013 so I assume it’s the latest version.

Hi, but on feed by mail how do you set the feed by mail service activation? Forced? If you force or disable it the check box should not appear.

If the module is disabled the on subscription setting is still respected (you can disable the module just to avoid that email are sent but you can still offer the feed by mail service opt in). See the notes under the “on subscription” settings.

Does the module have a different behavior?

Of course some combinations of setting can lead to confusion, so I’m reviewing them.

    Stefano.
