Problem in "Alternative custom welcome page"

We fill in:
Alternative custom welcome page: http://www.myaffiliate.com/mycode

use a url with affiliate code, but the plugin adds additional numbers at the end of the address and it breaks my affiliate link:

http://www.myaffiliate.com/mycode99a9a9

Hi, the plugin must add those code because they are need to identify the subscriber.

You can solve this problem adding a redirect rule on your .htaccess. Why the parameter breaks the affiliate link? Does the link is not working if there are other parameters?
