Only category from common post type?

    Trying to write a newsletter I saw that you can only import posts and excerpts from ordinary post categories, not from custom post categories. As all my items I put for sale are in a custom post category (taxonomies), there is thus no way to add them in the newsletter. Is this possible with the premium version?
