ParticipantI have used plugins in the past, but never “extentions” on plugins, so what do I do? I wanted the Facebook plugin, but so far I am just confused. I made the App on FB, and have those numbers, but where do I upload the files to? How an I supposed to make heads or tails of this?!

KeymasterHi, if you have the free version installed and a valid membership on my site you can download the extensions you need and install them folowing the instructions.
What version do you have?

ParticipantI just downloaded the extension the other day, so it should be the latest version, Facebook Extension for Newsletter (1.1.0)
Question again is, where do I upload those files to? I have never done extensions, and I dont see any instructions.

ParticipantNote: I already did this, https://developers.facebook.com/apps/, but I cant seem to find a way to connect that app to my blog, or what folder to upload the files in that download to…

ParticipantOK I think I got it, but Sign up with Facebook does not seem to work, it just links to http://www.amishrecipes.org/%7Bfacebook_url%7D

KeymasterHi, where did you put that link? If you use the tag {facebook_url} in the widget or in the subscription page, it should be replaced by the actual facebook connect link.
Bye, Stefano.

ParticipantOK now that I linked to http://www.amishrecipes.org/wp-content/extensions/newsletter/facebook/login.php it is actually working, but the link you gave is just giving me a 404 error.

KeymasterHi, just pressed the link and subscribed via facebook. No “not found” pages.

KeymasterFor the popup select the theme to use.

Participant“Hi, just pressed the link and subscribed via facebook. No “not found” pages.”
Yes, http://www.amishrecipes.org/wp-content/extensions/newsletter/facebook/login.php works, but when I used < href=”{facebook_url}”>Sign up with Facebook</>, it linked to http://www.amishrecipes.org/%7Bfacebook_url%7D
I then copied the link on your Facebook sign up here on this blog to get to the correct link… I think it is something to do with different WP versions…

KeymasterThe facebook url works only in the newsletter widget or inside the newsletter managed text (like the subscription text configurable from the subscription steps panel).

ParticipantOkay, I didn’t upload the themes folder. It’s working now.
