Not receiving confirmation email

Hi,

I have recently installed the Newsletter plugin on my WordPress site, and when I try to signup for newsletter through the form, I do not receive a confirmation email. It’s not appearing in the spam folder either. Not even after 16+ hours. Tried with different email addresses with the same outcome.

I did create some test subscribers and it does work to send newsletters to the same email addresses that were used for signing up.

Did I miss a step in the configuration? Any help is appreciated.

Change the confirmation email text and subject removing the “subscription” word. Change even the action url on the first tab of the subscription steps panel to “blog home url”. For sure it’s a filter of your provider.

Anyway I just tested the subscription in your blog (hope I found the right marius budu the photographer) and the email has been delivered in my inbox.

Yeah, that is the newsletter service that I want to replace. I am currently using a test domain for the Newsletter plugin.
I made the changes that you suggested but it still doesn’t work. If I go to the Subscribers options and select Resend confirmation, I do receive the confirmations on the test emails. I also see the notification that an email will be sent with the subscription confirmation, but that still does not happen naturally.

Marius actually I don’t know why it does not work. Are you testing it on your blog or another blog?

Which is your hosting provider? Have you configured mailpoet to use an SMTP?
