    Hi guys!
Despite all the tests are successful, and the newsletter appears sent to all recipients, no one receives it.
I’ve been using for some time, and without encountering problems, newsletter plugin 2.5.2.7, on wordpress 3.4.2, with a mailing list of approximately 2,900 accounts.
    Other features are:
    Max emails per hour: 1000
    SMTP host / port: smtps.aruba.it – 465 – SSL protocol

    Where is the problem?
    Thanks for any tips!

Aruba always says it’s all ok (I know them…). Try to change the mail body encoding on main newsletter config. But what about tests? Are they working from the diagnostic panel or even from the newsletter composer?

    Stefano.

    Thanks for your reply.
Tests are ok, test subscribers receive mail regularly.
What do you mean about changing the mail body?
    thx a lot,
    g.

If test subscribers receive the email, it is not a problem of body encoding. Are you sure your provider support 1000 emails per hour? The test subscribers are on different domains (gmail, hotmail and so on)?

Actually no subscriber receives the email?

    Stefano.

It has been working for a long time with 1000/hour.
Test subscribers are 3: hotmail, yahoo, aruba.
    No subscriber receives it.
In the while.. Aruba told many subscribers consider newsletter as spamming. There are also many mailer daemon replies.

    Thanx for any tips

Hi, signup on mandrillapp.com, the account is free and use their SMTP. Do some tests. Remeber that you should set the speed to 100 per hour initially. They have a fantastic console to monitor the emails.

I use mandrillapp to send newsletter from a couple of bug blogs (of course I pay them…) and I’m actually very happy of their service. Even sendgrid is a good provider for and external SMTP.

    Stefano.
