Just set up WordPress 3.5 and downloaded your newsletter plug-in. However there are no labels on the subscription form. I’m probably doing something stupid:-

Any advise would be welcome on how to fix it.

Hi, sometime it happens on installation, I don’t know why. But go to the subscription panel/form fields and you can set every label. There should be a reset button as well.

That’s done the trick, I have just discovered to that there is no newsletter option for subscription on the users’ profile pages, am I right in thinking there should be?

Did you mean the wordpress users subscription page? No, subscribers have their own profile page related to the subscription fields.

That’s confused me, how do they access the profile?

When you send an email you can use the {profile_url} tag that is tranformed in a link to the subscriber profile page. Pay attention that a subscriber profile has nothing to do with wordpress user profiles.

    Hi,

the “subscription”  is a sub-voice of the newsletter menu, and inside on the top there are some button and one is “form fields and layout”.

    Stefano.
