    Hi!

I’ve upgraded Newsletter plugin to v 3.0.1 and now the Required Confirmation Message doesn’t show up in double opt-in mode.

After clicking the “Subscribe” button, what I see is the Welcome Message, which tells me my subscription is successfully activated, although I get the right “confirmation required” email. I’ve also tried the alternative option of setting up a dedicated confirmation page, with the same result.

The rest of the messages are correctly and “in-time” displayed.

    Any suggestion?

    Thank you in advance

Does it show an empty message?

Found the problem: if do not save the subscription options, on version 3.0.2 (tomorrow) the text will be recovered.

Ok, Stefano, thank you very much!

I’ll wait for the next version (3.0.2)

    Hi again, Stefano!

Unfortunately, the new version has not fixed the problem: the message shown inmediately after the subscription is the one that should appear after activation.

As said, the rest of the proccess is OK, but the user can be confused by this issue.

I’m using a custom form in the footer  of my theme, in which I’ve changed the first line of the form, as the code generated by the plugin overrided the double opt-in proccess, validating the users directly after susbscription.

Pedro, you should recreate the message on subscription panel.

    It’s solved!

I’ve restored the form’s first line, published a dedicated confirmation page, and now it’s all working fiine.

Thank you again for your kind attention, Stefano.

    Pedro
