What happens when we click on the “Proceed to edit” button?

I have a custom Newsletter Theme that shows up perfectly on the Preview, but when I click on the “Proceed to edit” button, all the newsletter content disappears.

Because the custom theme has a lot of custom code, I need to know what happens when we click on the button “Proceed to edit” before trying to edit my code. Also because I do not understand why the newsletter shows correct on the Preview, but not after clicking on that button.

    Thank you

Please note that this problem only happens after updating the plugin a few days ago. It has been working well for the last 6 months.
I’ve read the documentation regarding the changes on the Newsletters Themes customization, but found nothing to explain the error. Also because it shows well on the Preview.

Uhm, a blank page in the editor usually means some unformatted html or characters which are not correctly intepreted by the editor. The only change in the editor has been a things about raw characters, I’ll take a look at it and we can try to restore the old behaviour in your blog to test if that is the problem. Can you write me directly to stefano@thenewsletterplugin.com?

Anyway if you on the edit panel switch to the raw html editor mode, you should see your theme code correctly. We are adding few options to theme so the editor can be “bypassed”.

    Thank you, Stefano.
