Newsletter subscription with contact-me form

Hi,

Sorry if it’s been asked before, lack of search functions stops me from searching this forum.

On my web site I have a newsletter subscription form (not using the WP widget, instead copy/pasted the script and html to add it to my hybrid WP/non-WP site). This works fine.

Separately I have a “contact me” form, where users can enter their name, e-mail address and a message to be e-mailed directly to me.

Now I’m looking to integrate the two, basically adding a “subscribe to newsletter” tick mark to the “contact me” form, so that people that contact me with a general question can immediately subscribe to my newsletter.

Any way to do this?

The contact form has its own cycle and it’s not possible to directly produce a newsletter subscription.
