    Hi,

So I’m having some issues with setting up Newsletter to send emails. I’ve entered the SMTP account information from my Mandrill account into the Newsletter plugin settings. My domain is verified, DKIM valid and SPF valid on Mandrill. However, when I send e-mails with the plugin, nothing shows up on my Mandrill account. On the plugin page, it shows as sent, but in Mandrill, no emails have been sent, or even attempted to be sent. Could I be missing some settings? The Domain is hosted on a Bluehost server (not sure if this matters).

Is the SMTP featire enabled? You may have missed to set it as enabled and just configured it.

    Hi Stefano,

Yes, SMTP enable is set to “yes”.
On the same tab, if I try to send a test e-mail, the request doesn’t go through, “Waiting for http://www.myurl.com”.

I think the issue is that bluehost is not opening ports required by Mandrill to send with SMTP. If I cannot get them to open the ports, is there another way to do this? Like a mandrill API or something?

Our mandrill extension uses the api to connect to mandrill, eventually you can try the different ports mandrill lets to use and of course ask bluehost.
