Missing feature

Hi

Thanks for a great plugin.

Thought there are one thing in particular that I am missing.

An option to also register for the actual site and not only the newsletter.

That way people dont have to go through the process of signing up for the site if they just started out as newsletter subscribers.

Because when you are able to allign WP-users with the newsletter, vice versa should also be possible and then they should either(if they choose) on newsletter signup be asked for a username and password, or it should be created automaticly.

Actually, as you wrote, the creation of an account requires the generation of a password, of a username and the conflict with already registered users must be managed. More the username and password should be sent to the user…

May be your blog is “clean” and this will be an easy process, but releasing that feature for all can lead to a lot of problems. This is why I didn’t include it till now.

Of course there is room for other developments… but I need to implement a safe process.

Yes you are right.

Just thought if the plugin woth correspond with the WP db and if email existed the username and password from wp would be used.
If no match then the user would be asked on confirmation email to make those.
