    Hi,

I’m verifying all the adresses (2500!) in my newsletter.

I thought I can unconfirm them all, then I will send a confirmation message to all, so the plugin can work alone and faster.

I didn’t found this function in the window “massive changes”.
    Isn’t “unconfirm all” implemented yet?

    It will be very useful.

I’m looking forward to an answer, I can’t unconfirm 2500 adresses one by one.

    Thanks.

Isn’t it easy to send a newsletter to all saying “you are subscribed you can manage your subscription here” and add the profile_url tag or directly the unsubscription_url tag?

I did as you suggested, but I have this problem:
a lot of dead mailbox that cause many delivery failures.

    What do you suggest?

    Thanks

Here’s what I did: I exported the subscribers to a file, edited all of them to have the status that I wanted (“C”=Confirmed, “S”=Subscribed, which means unconfirmed), and then I re-imported them back to Newsletter.

    Hi Tim,

I edited the database and I marked with “S” all the unconfirmed users.

Unfortunately, when I import back the database (both overwrite and update) “S” users are already confirmed.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

In my case, what I did was:

    1) export the database from Newsletter

    2) delete all subscribers from Newsletter

    3) edit the database export file

    4) import the edited database export file back to Newsletter

That worked for me, but your mileage may vary, as they say.

    Hi tcolling,

which format did you used to import the list?

    Thank you

I used CSV, formatted like this:

    email-address,first-name,last-name,gender,status

If you get a list of wrong addresses, you can mark it as bounced using the function in the subscribers menu.

@fibreparallele  you asked, “Which version did you used?”

    I used Newsletter 2.0.9 on WordPress 3.4.2
