    Hi Stefano,

great plug-in. I really like and I have been using it for quiet some time.

I have identified a little problem. When the plug-in gets updated any custom email themes that the user has created, disappear.

I understand that the easiest thing is to delete all the contents and extract from the ZIP file. I was thinking, though, that if you could somehow create a mechanism where the update process does not delete custom themes (maybe add a “do-not-delete” file in the directory), it would be great.

    Thanks,
    Yiannis

Hi, you put the themes in the wrong folder. If you put the theme in the plugin folder, WordPress deletes it on update. On this site see the page of documentation about newsletter and how to manage the custom theme so they survive the update. 🙂

    Hi Stefano,

I have another question about themes. Sorry to reply to this post, but it wouldn’t let me create a post in the forum, or register (kept saying the character didn’t match).

We use a multi-site installation. If multiple sites have the newsletter plugin activated, will they see the other sites’ custom newsletter themes? I have a client that would like a custom theme, but doesn’t want it available to others (understandable).

Also, is there a way to order the posts (other than chronologically) when preparing a newsletter?

    Thank you!

    Tim

Hi there is n o way to make a theme available only to one blog of the network. About the order, you should code a specific theme to extract posts in a different order or aggregate them in a different way.
