ParticipantSorry. I am brand new to the plugin. I spent countless hours looking for a plugin that would allow me to email to registered users and this one looks like it will do the trick. Although I have read the documentation I could not find the answer to my simple question. I have 127 people who have subscribed to my site so they aren’t “unsubscribed”. I created a new email okay but I cannot figure out how to send it to my existing subscribers, all of whom have already agreed to receive information from me. Appreciate anyone’s help.

ParticipantI’ve read every word of the documentation and I hate to admit that I was lost on about page two. I know this plug-in is awesome in what it can do, but I’m just trying to find some simple directions for adding my existing subscribers to send a newsletter. We have a new logo to announce plus our site was down because of a disastrous move to GoDaddy hosting, for which I want to apologize. I think I created the newsletter okay but I’m lost as to actually how to send it.
Appreciate your help. I promise to invest the time to learn how to use this plug-in.

ParticipantYes, you told me that already, but it has some pretty scary warning messages before you do that. My confusion is that I have created the newsletter and if I go ahead and convert my existing subscribers there’s so many other things that come up, like I should be including an unsubscribe and a subscription page, neither of which I have figured out yet. In my mind every one of my existing users have subscribed just by signing up. Is there not a way for me to just send a simple email to them?

KeymasterTo send an email to all your user with newsletter you should force them as subscriber, there are no other options. There is no need to create subscription or unsubscription pages, it’s all already working when Newsletter is installed.

ParticipantI took a giant leap of faith and did what you suggested. I did the massive action of converting all subscribers and sent the newsletter. Although I can’t figure out where I go to see any progress on the send, I did receive the newsletter on my host. My only question for future reference is that the newsletter did not have the logo I added, but if I “viewed this email online” it did. How do I avoid this in future?
Thanks!

KeymasterThe logo, being an image, can be blocked by some mail client (for different reasons on different emails). If the online version is showing it, it means the email is formally correct.
Sometimes, using an external and know SMTP provider helps. -
